Here's what's happening...
 | Ride the train this weekend! On Saturdays in May (before our full opening on the 26th), our basic excursion train (diesel powered) departs from our Boone depot, and makes its trek through the beautiful Des Moines River Valley. All aboard for a 25 minute ride with a full size Thomas the Tank Engine™. Meet Sir Topham Hatt, take part in storytelling, live music, build with Mega Bloks™, and much more! | Pumpkin Express | |

Picking out a pumpkin has never been this much fun! Enjoy a scenic trip from the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad & Museum depot to the pumpkin patch. Ride the train across two bridges into the Des Moines River Valley and pick out your very own pumpkin. The ride may last anywhere from an hour and fifteen minutes, to an hour and thirty minutes (depending upon how long it takes for the children to select their pumpkins). Tickets for this event are not yet on sale. |

| Santa Express | |

Join us for an enchanting trip aboard the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad's Santa Express™. The ride departs from the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad depot, located at 225 10th Street in Boone, travels to the "North Pole", and returns. On board, you will: sing Christmas carols, hear the story of "Santa's Scenic Valley Ride", be served hot chocolate and a cookie, meet, and receive a silver bell from, Santa. Tickets for this event are not yet on sale. |
