Attention all current and potential crew members!
The date for this year's Rules and Safety class has been set. We will be meeting at the B&SVRR shop, located at 11th and Division in Boone, on Saturday, March 17th at 8:30 AM. As usual, testing will be held following the morning's classes.
The new James H. Andrew Railroad Museum & History Center
Much progress is being made on the new James H. Andrew Railroad Museum and History
Center. This 9000 square foot building is located directly
to the southwest of the present depot. Mr. Andrew has provided a
substantial amount of funding, and is donating his entire collection of
over 5000 pieces of railroad memorabilia. We are all very excited to see this new venue begin to take shape. It is planned that, by the spring of 2012, visitors to the railroad will be able to tour the museum.

We're looking for a few good volunteers!
The Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad, and the James H. Andrew Railroad Museum and History Center, are always looking for volunteers; conductors, engineers, firemen, brakemen, tour guides, snack bar volunteers, gift shop volunteers, and more.
